We Can't Wait

...for Republicans to come to their senses or be good for anyone but the 1%.*

Well that is not exactly what President Obama has said, but it should be pretty clear. But it is not.(Michael Lind) We can't wait till the American people understand.

While Mitch McConnell and John Boehner provide the non-sense, Michael Lind provides some relief with Morning Joe a bit more consideration, with Dr. Zbigniew Brzezinski. Note that Morning Joe follows up with a panel on Rick Perry. More message on the mess age, later. While I agree that the Perry birther talk is silly, but it may be a convenient distraction from his tax plan. Convenient for the media but not the country. And convenient for the blame the "gotcha liberal media" strategy that seems very much a part of the Republican story. There is a catch-44.**

[Yes, there is an anacronism in my asterisk 3. I have yet to link another column. Not it.]

I am not taking the fifth, nor have any reason to(except*pun), but the Jacobin mag/org and the Fifth Column are part of the equation or ge oh me try of understanding, let alone pun(or*analogy). Less of pun and a shorter course might be geo me try or Geo.metrics, not Tricks*George.
[And this evolution was not my original intent, or was it? Not that I know, at least *pun*George.]

Not to pun on more tangents, but 3 wrongs don't make a right. Well maybe I cannot escape the use of analogy, unless I include specifics, but I will try. No number of wrongs make much right, but while the end may justify some means, it does not make the means right(or left). It is, what is the end and what justifies it, that makes further calculations of any use. The above wrongs were triggered by someones comment on the Iraq situation, in a sense similar to Michael Lind. But my point is that there is a major shift in the quality of calculations in the last 10 years, and more specifically the present administration, let alone the global ism.
